I went in as a total beginner and felt lost from the start. The instructions moved really quickly, and once I missed a step, what was I supposed to do, keep stopping everyone to ask again? I didn’t feel super comfortable speaking up, so I mostly just tried to follow along and hoped for the best. It felt like the whole thing was geared more toward people who already knew what they were doing. Maybe it works for them, but for me? Not really.

I went along with a few friends and, to be fair, it was a decent laugh. Axe throwing is definitely enjoyable once you get the technique down, and there were some genuinely funny moments when someone finally managed to land one properly on the target.
That said, it did feel a little short for what we paid, and after the initial excitement wore off, the experience sort of plateaued. The staff were perfectly fine and everything was organised well enough, so no real complaints there. I’m glad I tried it, but I wouldn’t be in a massive hurry to book again

The instructor seemed like he knew what he was doing, but he barely explained things and everything felt rushed. I was hoping to actually understand the material before moving on, but instead I left confused, which pretty much ruined the plans I had for the rest of the day since I had to spend extra time figuring it out on my own.

The place felt run down. The lanes and seating looked worn out, and it didn’t feel very clean — well, not terribly dirty, but definitely not as clean as I’d expect. The bathrooms weren’t great either. For the price, I really thought it would be in better shape. I probably wouldn’t go back unless they put some work into fixing it up

It wasn’t the best experience for our group. We had to wait around for ages, and I ended up having to chase them just to get any updates, which was frustrating. By the time we finally got started, the game felt rushed, and the staff came across like we were bothering them. Not really the fun, relaxed outing we were hoping for.

The place was easy enough to get to and the location worked fine for us, so no major complaints there. That said, the way it was described made parking and the entrance sound a lot more straightforward than they actually were. Parking was kind of annoying, and we wandered around for a minute trying to figure out where to go in. Overall it was okay, not anything special, but convenient enough once we got settled.

I mean, it was fine, I guess, but definitely not something I’d call worth the price. For what I paid, I was expecting a lot more, but apparently that was asking too much.

The music was all over the place too, super loud in some areas and then weirdly quiet in others. It just didn’t feel very welcoming and killed the mood for me

I went in hoping to have a fun time, but the staff really didn’t make it feel very welcoming. They came across cold, weren’t especially helpful, and there wasn’t much friendliness at all. I’m not expecting anything over the top, but a smile or just a bit of basic politeness goes a long way. It made the whole experience feel awkward, so I wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back.

Trying to book was way more annoying than it needed to be. The site kept freezing right when I got to the payment part, and I had to refresh a couple of times before it finally went through. Weirdly, I remember there was a tiny spinning icon that just sat there forever, like it was judging me

I just didn’t feel safe during the experience. The rules weren’t explained clearly enough, and that made it hard to feel comfortable or confident about what was going on

The pacing was kind of all over the place. At some points it felt like we were being rushed through everything, and then right after that we were just standing around waiting. It made it hard to actually relax and enjoy the session

Not gonna lie, it felt awkward for a birthday celebration. The vibe just didn’t really fit the occasion, and I probably wouldn’t choose it again for something like that

Had a really good time overall, but the place could’ve done with a bit more cleaning. Some parts of the floor were a bit sticky, and the toilets looked like they needed someone to pop in and sort them out. It wasn’t anything major and didn’t ruin the night or anything, just not quite as clean as I was expecting. Staff were lovely though, so that definitely helped.

We had a laugh with the axe throwing itself, that part was definitely good fun. Not sure if they were short-staffed or if something had gone wrong before we arrived, but the start was a bit messy and we were standing around for a while. A couple of groups seemed to get mixed up too. The staff were nice and did sort it out, to be fair, but by the end it felt like we were being hurried along a bit.
